Lubo's final bow
Lubo Moravcik made his final appearance on Scottish soil on Sunday afternoon when he turned out against junior side Lochee United in a game to raise funds for a Slovakian football charity.
The 36-year-old organised the match, which tied at 5-5, and then arranged an auction afterwards in which a pair of his boots, a signed Henrik Larsson jersey and one of his own shirts, boosted the funds.

The little midfielder, who scored a total of 35 goals in 103 appearances for Celtic, has now headed off to Slovakia where he will present a cheque to the Lubomir Moravcik School of Excellence before enjoying a family holiday in France.

Moravcik will then team up with his mentor, Dr Jozef Venglos, for a brief spell in Japan.

Said Lubo: "I was supposed to play this game at the end of last season, but I was injured after the Scottish Cup Final and so we left it a year until now. It's great that we were able to raise money and it was a big success.

"I'm looking forward to a break with my family now and I wish everyone at Celtic the very best for next season."
Injury Update
Neil Lennon has started some light exercise in the gym, but it is highly unlikely that the Northern Irish midfielder will be fit in time for pre-season training.
Lennon is two weeks into a recovery that is estimated to take up to three months, and it is expected that it will be nearer the end of July before he is able to target a return to action.

The midfielder will spend his summer break under close scrutiny of the Hoops medical team as he follows an intense treatment programme set out by the surgeon who operated on him.

Meanwhile, Joos Valgaeren continues to make good progress in his rehabilitation from two separate hernia operations and the Belgian defender ought to have recovered by the time Martin O'Neill's side begin their preparations for next season.

Chris Sutton, Paul Lambert and Bobo Balde are recovering sufficiently from their injuries and, after taking advice from the medical team, are enjoying time off before pre-season training gets underway where they will then be re-assessed.
Hartson and O'Neill scoop awards
John Hartson and Martin O’Neill have collected the Bank of Scotland Player and Manager of the Month awards.
Celtic won the title after losing just one league game throughout the season and dropping just two points at home, while Hartson has netted 24 goals in his first season at the club after signing from Coventry.

Said Hartson: "As players you know when you’ve done well and you when you’ve not played well. It’s funny because I think I scored in six consecutive games earlier in the season and I never won it, and now I’ve being sent off in an Old Firm game, I’ve lost in a Cup Final and I’ve won it!

"I’m not knocking it back because it’s obviously nice to win them. I’m very pleased and I’m proud but it’ll look nice on the mantelpiece and that’s it.
